Michele Spadaro

Vice President

Michele Spadaro is a sound artist and audio engineer. He acquired his knowledge and skills by completing a diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering at Point Blank London; a BA (Hons) in Audio Production at SAE, London; and an MMus in Sonic Arts at Goldsmiths University.
During his university studies, he published research on audio programming for XR platforms, which was included in his thesis: Efficient Real Time
Auditory Display for Virtual Reality Experience (2016), a study of the psychoacoustic perception of space through hearing.
He consolidated his skills in music production, project management, synchronization, and
maintenance at the quiet, please! studio in Milan, where he served as a junior engineer.
At the Fondazione Oelle Mediterraneo Antico, he serves as audio project manager, developing sound art works, including: MXUG-Music For Urban Gardens (2018) and Sonic Landscapes (2019). He has also developed projects for various contemporary art galleries, such as: Preghiera alla Committenza (2020) - in collaboration with the artist Christian Manuel Zanon - for the Galleria Massimo Ligreggi in Catania; Imagotonus (2020) for the San Sebastiano Contemporary in Palazzolo Acreide (Syracuse), Locum materiae sanam-Acustemologia dell’Etna (2021) for Collica & Partners Gallery in Catania. This last work was also presented at the 2021 edition of the Artissima fair in Turin. At the same time, he deepened his research in the audio field with post-production and sound design for the documentary on the Second World War Moral Bombing (2019) directed by Ezio Costanzo; and started a collaboration with Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones by managing his recording studio in Sicily, where he recorded the single, Eazy Sleazy (2021).
