Oelle Archive ②

A selection of works from the Fondazione Oelle archive, exploring the tensions and contradictions of the contemporary world. Conflicts, freedom, social transformations, and urgent environmental issues emerge through the perspectives of both Italian and international artists.

"This is the most contemporary exhibition we could possibly present—not only because of the artistic languages it employs, but above all because of the themes it addresses," says Ornella Laneri, President of Fondazione Oelle. "The works speak to our own era, its contradictions, and the conflicts that run through it, giving voice to diverse perspectives and experiences that often struggle to find a place in public discourse. The collection is also the result of the choices the Foundation has made over the years: supporting artists, embracing their research, and recognizing art as a tangible way to interrogate reality and foster new forms of awareness."

The exhibition features works by Thomias Radin, Dala Nasser, The Cool Couple, Michael Christopher Brown, Daniela Ortiz, Tamás Kaszás, Alfio Bonanno, Federico Baronello, Margot Kalach, Francesco Lauretta, Antonio Marras, Ryan Mendoza, Lalla Lussu, Alfredo Pirri, Carol Rama, Marco Nereo Rotelli, and Ettore Sottsass.

The visit also offers the chance to discover a suite by Alfredo Pirri and a "Meta Room" by Ryan Mendoza—two spaces that expand the exhibition experience, allowing visitors to engage with the artists' work through unconventional modes of interaction.
