History intertwines with Memory. Oblivion does not belong to us. And it should not belong to the new generations.

For this reason, the Oelle Foundation brings to life the indelible signs of the past, both material and immaterial. A past that belongs to us, just like the present. And if history, the kind made through documents, leaves voids that perhaps can never be filled, Memory comes to us, becoming itself a document of the soul, of the spirit that still wanders among blood-soaked rubble. Memory, the memory of the past that settles in individuals, full of myth, affection, and passion. It is related to truth but not a twin, a blood relative of History, but individual. And it takes shape and meaning also through all that remains and is still visible and tangible of our past. Exhibitions, conferences, meetings, and guided tours are the means to open our gaze to a better future and not to forget.
