A place to leave from, a place to return to: nine photographs, taken by Anna Tusa, at the fON Art Gallery of the Four Point by Sheraton in Acicastello. The house on the hill, among the fields, remains suspended in a slow becoming after a departure. Entering, seeing its interiors, the idea that it has not been abandoned. That small home continues to live, bearing the signs of time, lived sometimes between toil and hope, between the boundless spaces of those who leave and the inhabited rooms of those who stay. In the preparations for a breakfast, in the small gestures of every day, something bursts with its vivacity: the red of the poppies. It is the spring season, the hope, the possible time of the return. In a final shot, the house in reverse shot, among the scarlet meadows, closes the sequence circularly, as in the gaze of someone who, between reality and dream, can return there.
