Michael Christopher Brown

OELLE Foundation hosted photographer Michael Christopher Brown for an artist residency, linked to a workshop , from September 28 to October 9, 2021. Brown rose to fame for his iPhone reportage in Libya during the revolution, shot after his photographic equipment was lost in a firefight and he was seriously injured. This reportage, along with other important work from around the world, earned Brown a job with Magnum Photo. Following the residency and workshop, Brown opened his solo exhibition at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna de Le Ciminere in Catania.
