From the archive of the great American photographer, unpublished images of Italian prisoners in North Africa and the war in Sicily in 1943. The collection permanently exhibited at the Phil Stern Pavilion in Catania is joined by new photographs selected from original negatives. Never before published photographs, including those of civilian life on the Island that Stern managed to "steal", capturing moments that preserve its memory.
