The workshop's main theme was the profession of photojournalist in the era of major technological, multimedia, and digital changes, both in terms of shooting tools and the dissemination and sale of images.
Michael Christopher Brown's experience was also invaluable in learning the fundamentals of photojournalism, from conceptualizing and preparing a photojournalist, to choosing the right narrative format, and from logistical and organizational aspects. External excursions to Mount Etna, the historic center of Catania, and the towns on Etna and the Sicilian Ionian coast provided participants with an unforgettable experience working alongside a renowned American photographer.
